A little more on our updates here in BG. For the most part all that is left is re-doing the consoles in the 911 center along with the transmitter site. One of the new assigned frequencies will replace one of the previous control frequencies. Unk which one. Each agency will also have a new tac channel, utilizing one of the newly FCC assigned frequencies. These will be simplex and will differ in PL tones for each agency. EMS is also awaiting arrival of new radios so we are waiting on them before system startup. Nothing firm on the times now for startup.

We have started to use the new mutual aid talk-groups as well as mutual aid tac channels (MATAC). System is currently awaiting arrival of new EMS radios before system is activated. Following activation I will get the new talk-groups out.

The system is not yet complete. We are waiting the arrival of new equipment for EMS. All other city/county govt services radios have been re-banded. We are using the new mutual aid and mutual aid tac(MATAC) freqs and talkgroups on a limited basis. These are noted in the description portion of the RR d-base for the BG/Warren County 800 System. I should be able to get the new TGs for each govt service once the system is complete and get the info out.

Last time I checked we were on hold due to necessary equipment not getting to EMS so all the reprogramming is not complete. No timeline for completion. A majority of the City/County agencies radios have been reprogrammed.

Last I talked to "an important person" it would be at least April until the new equipment arrived and was installed. Of course he said it could be later, know one knows for sure.

Note that 857.9625 is also a control channel for the Bowling Green/Warren County trunk system. This update has also been sent to the dbase admin.
