Has just recently started using their UCAN TGID, 15680, off of Reservoir Hill. This is the first I've heard of them on UCAN, before they were just using the 150's and 460's. Now they're using it all.

Because enquiring minds want to know...

The RR page for Box Elder County is a mess. There is little information on the entries, and many of them don't match the FCC database. If you live around that area could you confirm the listed entried and submit new ones?

I'm not from the area but I travel through there often and try to keep tabs on what's new anywhere I go but here is a brief view of the most active that I have in my base in my pickup. All are monitored on the output freqs.

155.595 is Box Elder PD Dispatch (County SO, Brigham, Tremonton et al)
154.665 is a repeater for the north part of the county of the above (can be heard clear in Cache)
154.355 is Box Elder Fire Dispatch
154.145 is Box Elder Fire 2
154.430 is Brigham City EMS
154.740 is Brigham City PD Car To Car (C2C)
155.520 is Tremonton C2C

I have some that are licensed for Mantua, Honeyville, Garland and Perry but those areas (at least those with PD's) I hear their C2C traffic on the UHP Ch 3 (155.745) which in the rural parts of the state is used by both UHP and local sheriffs.

As far as 800, the site at Promontory has coverage to the Idaho state line and rumor has it that a new 800 site will be installed at Hansel Mountain to cover 1-84 to the Idaho state line at Snowville.

That pretty much covers the basics. If anyone has more that are active, holler!
Cheers

I found a new frequency in Box Elder over the weekend. It's 151.115 and it covers Sardine Canyon, mainly the Mantua area. I got clear traffic through the canyon until just before Wellsville in Cache County.I call it the Mantua Repeater. It's simocasts the same traffic on both 155.595 and 154.665 plus UCAN talkgroup 15680

Box Elder frequencies updated

Junior1970,

Thanks for posting these additions from your scanning work. I added them to Box Elder County on RR. Feel free to suggest any changes of additions. I also tried to find input frequencies for the repeaters from the FCC database.

One "correction" I made is that I assumed the Brigham City EMS frequency is 155.430 rather than 154.430 since the former is licensed to Brigham City while the latter is not. If 154.430 is actually correct (and it could easily be) let me know and I'll change it.

155.430 for Brigham EMS is correct. I checked my records and my scanners themselves and I guess I can blame the mistake on late afternoons at work. I apologise.

Thanks for confirming this, and no need to apologise. I only suspected the error because I commit the same 154/155 mix-up so frequently! :)
