OK thanks. So if I listen to the Melbourne or Palm Bay tower I will only monitor activity in or near those areas? When I listened to the Rockledge tower, they were very busy.

A lot of the agencies these days are simulcast - especially the sheriff's department. I pick up most agencies except for Titusville on Rockledge.

Melbourne/Eau Gallie tower is a smaller system, so, I'm doubting it gets as much traffic as the Rockledge or Palm Bay towers.

I've noticed no differences, but then again, my radios are already rebanded and the transition will be seamless for me.

All they did for the first touch in rebanding was to add the new system channels to the end of the old channel lists. It's just a longer channel list in logical channel order. When the old frequencies are
cut out and the new ones are turned up, the radio will just use the channels in the bottom of the list. Simple and elegant, I must say.

Ooooh - you know - you would be THE MAN if you were to share those frequencies :)

Ok thanks much for the info. So is if and when they reband(still set for Feb 09?), then RR will have the new freqs and I can just build the new systems?
