I think I may have just bricked this NX-205G!

I was doing a little experimenting with it, as I just got a new NX-3200 and wanted to mess around with some stuff (never a good idea). I obviously loaded the wrong firmware without noticing. (Not sure how, but I sure did!) I accidentally loaded a normal NX-200 firmware to it, and it was an old firmware as well. The radio now displays “INIT ERROR 2”. Does anyone know what this mean? From what I’ve found it’s now a hardware chip issue. The radio will not enter firmware mode now, and will not accept a blank code plug. It’s pretty much bricked.

Have you tried clicking write in FPRO even tho you can’t get it into FW loading mode? I recall when my NX 300 got disconnected while FW writing, I could just click write and it would fix it. I don’t remember which error it showed tho.

And just for clarification, this is the NX205 you wrote to and not the NX3200? The 205 should take normal NX200 firmware, just make sure it’s fairly new (5.21 or newer if I remember the release date right, preferably 5.36)
