Brief pause when scanning 396xt

When I am scanning and get a hit after about a second or two the audio breaks and returns for another few seconds and breaks again. I looked and I belive that Close Call and Priority are off. I don't have any of the systrems programmed as priority. Any suggestions?




I checked priority and Close Call, but I forgot about WX alert. It was on so i turned it off.....WaLa fixed....

Check to see that you have S.A.M.E. Weather Alert turned off. Try adjusting the squelch counter clockwise one tick.
