Brockville fire dispatch

I heard westport being paged out to a chimmney fire on friday night. The tones were about a second longer on the first tone and about a second longer ao the second tone. The voice from dispatch was really hollow sounding . and sfter the page they sent out somekind of warble tone? Is this the new console that they are using?

Sometimes the actual fire stations set off their own page. Usually that's a secondary page, or "more manpower required" page. It doesn't happen often, and I didn't hear the one you're talking about so I can't be certain that's the correct answer. But those times I *have* heard this done, it does indeed sound "weird" compared to the norm.
