Burlington Co. simulcast of TRS???

Hey all,
I've been getting North response and North police 4 (springfield, mansfield, chesterfield, north hanover, new hanover, and bordentown city) on 460.550 very noisey. Wondering if anyone else listens to this and where it might be coming from? A friend ran it threw the FCC database and it came back liscened to a couple of places including one of springfields fire co. I monitor burl co with a pro-96 most of the time just found it interesting. Almost sounds like some people didnt want to purchase an expensive scanner to be able to monitor the newer system. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Did you just come across this by searching or someone telling you about it? I haven't heard of any simucasting like that in the county yet. What location are you receiving it from? Seems it would be quite an expense to set something up like that as opposed to just getting new scanners. I'll give it a listen when I get home but if its local to that area I might not hear it from Medford.

This is a very lower power rebroadcast of N R-1 and N P-4 from the Jobstown area. Coverage is only good for 2 to 3 miles.

A friend of mine in the sykesville area found it by searching. I programmed it in and couldnt hear anything from the crosswicks area but when i am mobile i can hear it on my truck radio very very noisy. Thats what i thought it was from, the jobstown area but wondered who it is for and stuff like that.

I can hear it here in Medford. Very scratchy but I can copy it. Good to know info.
