Bush Gardens

Greetings All, - First post
Recently purchased a 536hp. Love it, no issues- I knew going into it the app was not available yet, other issues some have, etc. Didnt phase me, I knew i wanted this unit more for other funtionalities more then apps etc..

First question- Bush Gardens.
Using the sentinal software i was able to download my surroundy counties public saftey and misc. services i was interested in hearing. One exception- Bush Gardens. It is listed in the RR database, but when i go into Hillsbourough county and toggle through the available systems it is not listed. Any reasoning why it is not listed in the download but it is on the RR site? So using the info on the site I tried to manually program the site channels and talkgroups... No luck yet- but it may just be quiet. Thoughts?

Because, Bush Gardens is MotoTRBO which can not be decoded with just the scanner, so loading it is likely blocked

According to the RRDB it is DMR Motorola Capacity Plus (TRBO)

TRBO can be decoded (unless Encrypted) using SDR and other tools, but not just the scanner.

If you're technically inclined you may be able to monitor BUSCH Gardens using a setup with DSD provided they're not encrypted.

behind the scenes

a couple of years ago i went with the girlfriend and a couple of the kids.
i don't like the rides (bad back) so i stayed at the hotel with some scanners.
at one point she called to say the ride they were waiting on had broken down.
so i loaded up the scanner and in 5 minutes i called back to say it would be back on in 5 more minutes.
so they went back very slowly and were the only ones waiting. she guessed they jumped ahead 50 people.
some helpful folks reminded them the ride was closed. she just said thanks and stood there.
it is funny what a little information can do.
