I was scanning the military air band, the upper 300's.
In the Rockford area.
Exact Freq: 356.725

The business was using the mil air on a freq. range of 350
Does this happen a lot?

Which mode was the traffic you heard using? AM? NFM? Analog? Digital? My first thought is that you might have been hearing an image of another frequency, but it's always possible that someone was using a frequency that they weren't supposed to.

FM mode, sounds like general FM voice, that a local business is using for daily operations.
I thought an image too, but I am pretty sure I ruled that out.

Not much out there to use in that range so that does seem odd. Wonder what they are using

Do you have a recording of any of the transmissions?

No, but they use it all the time.
So, it wouldn't be hard to get.

Me too...
What PL/DPL then is showing ?
I forgot, but will post it next time I hear it.

They use the frequency often.
So, It won't be hard to obtain.
I just need the extra time, lol
