I'm not entirely sure where to ask. My friend was messing around on SDR++ (I'm not super familiar with the hobby), and he picked up these voices on 268.249.165 Mhz (a tad concerning because his software said it was on the Military Air Band). Does anybody know what these could be of? Or at least what language it's in?

Pirates using a military satellite. They’re speaking Portuguese and are probably located in Brazil. A common occurrence.

By “pirate” I mean unauthorized use.

Not sure as my audio not great, but sounds like the typical "Brazilian SATCOM Pirates" (speaking Portuguese) on/around ~268. Mhz FM....

The Military Air-Band (Air-to-Air & Air to Ground) for the most part is in the "AM" Mode...perhaps someone with a better audio card / filters can offer better comments?

It's super noisy but it sounds like Brazilian truckers based on some of the content being discussed.
