Busy Frequencies

So what are some of the good busy frequencies in halifax/dartmouth other then the police, which seems to be all I am getting.

If you're into military air refueling check out http://forums.radioreference.com/atlantic-maritime/180201-mid-air-refueling-over-nova-scotia.html ...although the refueling hasn't been quite as active recently as it was during the summer and your psr-500 will handle all frequencies you can throw at it. Also The Maritimes Scanning Site might have some info you could use.

You need to check out the Database on this website and program your PSR to scan then Trunked system. You will be able to hear almost everything, HRM POlice / RCMP, HRM Fire, EHS, DNR, .... everything. You have a pretty expensive and quality piece of equipment and judging by your last 3-4 posts, you seem to be having alot of difficulty in using it and programming it to get use of its full potential. Freescan is good software and will actually allow you to import the correct information directly from this website. Do alittle reading and research on it and you will get plently of enjoyment from your scanner.
