How well does this antenna perform? Is it basically a "re-badged" Diamond RH77CA or Watson W881 Super Gainer?

It's actually a "re-badged" Diamond RH771 (I ordered one last year). Packaging has Japanese lettering. Same basic antenna as the RH77CA (US version), but maybe 1/2 to 3/4" longer. Performance about the same, although it seems slightly better on 800 than the -77CA (swapping on the same scanner, monitoring same systems). No test equipment other than personal observation & listening, but that's my impression, for what it's worth.

But the R/S 800 is still a better antenna if 800 is more important than Uhf & Vhf. I'm using the "Gainer" on my BR330T, as I have more Vhf & Uhf on it, with only a few of the closer 800 systems. The 396 gets the R/S 800 for multiple 800's, or a Centurion 800 gain antenna I got from Waltel.

That's about what I thought. I already use a Diamond RH77CA. I guess I wouldn't see any better performance on the VHF/UHF Milair bands.....
