I am seeing a 4 site system that I think is in Calhoun county (southwest Georgia). Its on the edge of
my reception area. A couple of the sites are real weak. I think this is the system.
WRXW204
The freqs correspond to what I am seeing. Seems to be a Rescue type network.
DMR Cap+ system
Site 1
155.0700 DCC1 neighbor list 2,3&4
155.7000 " this freq is used by S&P (NDXN96) network in Enterprise Ala also

Site 2

155.6325 "

Site 3
155.5425 DCC3 neighbor list 1,2&4
154.7625 "

Site 4
155.8650 DCC4 neighbor list 1,2&3

If anyone has any ideas on this network let me know please. I haven't setup a multi site
Cap+ network before and I need any help you got. I use DSDPlus software and SDR usb
receivers.

Millam, sent you a message through RR. Did you ever figure this out? I have found the same info but don’t know how to program my SDS200 with this information. All my Calhoun County, GA conventional frequencies have gone dead quiet. I’m assuming they have switched over to DMR (DMR CAP+)?

I thought Calhoun and Randolph swapped to a NXDN Type-C system?

need LCNs for each site as well as talkgroups

@millam You are going to need to figure out the LCNs for each site before programming them. And the LCNs will not be the same for each frequency on a site, so your current DSDPlus configuration isn't going to work.

@KK4MC For whatever sites you can pick up well, you should program each site in separately as a DMR trunked system. You should probably in the 2 (or 1) frequencies available on each site and then run LCN finder (may take a while depending upon traffic) to determine which LCNs are associated with which frequencies.

jcefd10: Calhoun county has a license to operate a 4 site Cap+ network. Randolph county has a license to operate
1 site using 2 freqs, 154.2575 and 159.0675. The rest of Randolphs licenses are expired. I'm gonna monitor these and see
if there is any traffic that I can hear. I'm in Houston county Ala and only receive that far when skip is running. Don't know
if the SO and one of the towns share resources but probably do, my guess.

mtindor: Did that. Submitted LCNs to the DBM. Notice that I did say the numbers "could be wrong" and in fact are wrong.

I have a person on the ground in Calhoun county that I sent a SDS100 favorites file to and he says it works perfectly
with this data plugged into it.

Quick question: What is "FMP24 PRO"? I have only fmp24.exe.

No idea. did I say FMP24 PRO? I don't see anywhere that I said that, so I can't tell you what it means.

And as far as LCNs go, you use LSNs in DSDPlus. So you need to make sure that whomever is working your ticket is aware that you are submitting LSNs and not LCNs.

For instance, LSN1/2 is LCN 1, and LSN 3/4 is LCN 2.

I see where you submitted the updates. I see that the submisson says it is worked. But there is incorrect data in the database for the Calhoun systems, with LSN/LCNs listed as 0 and -1, which is incorrect. And the system is still noted as needing the LCNs.

So maybe you added to a ticket that was already set to "worked" and you may need to resubmit (a new ticket) for the data again. Just specify that your DSDPlus configuration is using LSNs and that the LCNs would be different.

Look at your BIO thing it states in CAPITOL LETTERS that you are a "FMP24 PRO USER" just wondered what it takes to become a "PRO"?

In DSDPlus, when you see channel numbers like 1/2/3/4 in a channel activity window for DMR, those are LSNs (logical slot numbers). These can be entered in the database (in the proper way) and they will then populate the LSN / LSN columns properly for each site. But the admin working the ticket needs to know which is which. There are two logical slots per freq on a DMR freq since its 2-slot TDMA.

LSN 1 / LSN 2 = LCN 1
LSN 3 / LSN 4 = LCN 2

So in a Uniden scanner, the sites are using LCNs of 1 and 2. In DSDPlus they are using LSNs of 1 and 3.

Ok, I guess FMP24 PRO is supposed to mean I know what the hell I'm doing with DSDPlus. But to be honest, I didn't put that in there to toot my own horn. Some other user on the forums suggested that I set that description LOL. FMP24 PRO just means I'm not a novice. But again, it wasn't my idea to put that in my bio. It was someone else, and it was sort of added as a joke. I make mistakes just like anyone else.

Glad you are the PRO, we need one more times than we think. Thanks for being there when we get stuck trying
to map a network or an unknown system.
