I finally got my hands on an xpr2500 now to figure out how to program for trunking so I can listen to the county regular DMR I got figured out but not the trunking aspect I’m new to all this digital stuff.

What does LCN 0 mean and LSN -1 mean and how do I program it in the radio? I. Keep seeing LCN is logical color number online but not sure if it’s true. Also can anyone explain how to program a capacity plus system to a radio? Do I program each channel in a zone then just a scan list to be able to listen only? Or is it far more complicated? Amy help would be appreciated!

As inexperienced as you are, you would be better off with a scanner. You need to know exactly what you are doing to keep the radio from transmitting, unless you want to live in a gated community.

I’ve got a good bit of local DMR and analog departments in there and have it set to RX only. The radio was given to me and I was just tinkering around with it. I’ve got several other mobiles but with mainly weather in them. I greatly appreciate all the advice and knowledge y’all have shared!
