Incorrect Info Submitted

Seems like someone has yet submitted false info to be submitted to RR again as this does not seem correct for any of these talkgroups. Must be trying to screw up the database with false info once again.

This guy has serious problems and needs to get professional help (Taylor, you really need to heed this advice). The Reddit thread Mike O linked to has some history, if you follow a couple of the links. I'm not up to going into the gory details - suffice it to say he's well known to emergency services all throughout the local area, and is banned from all public safety properties.

It goes back as far as the Southwood Community First Responders post, in which his 'agency' of responding to emergency calls on his bicycle was listed on RR for a short time. It might go back even further. It went beyond that when he bought an ambulance and continued to drive around "giving first aid".

Speaking of radio communications, though, there are plenty of iDEN users in the Calgary area who are going to be searching for new communications providers in the very near future (before the end of the month). If you're a legitimate scanner hobbyist, listen carefully on other systems in the region.

Wow .. just wow. There is a guy in Edmonton too that is whacker-ish .. but not quite this bad.

People wonder why our agencies are encrypting here like mad .. I am not surprised at all.

3 rd that as well. He always seemed strange. Glad I didn't respond to his last PM. Seemed strange when he wanted an 800 MHz with EMS programmed. Too bad that so few bad apples spoil it for others.

Getting back to iDEN, I did try to scan last week as had not heard anything on the systems I listen to. I'll have to do more next week, but am limited by what I have available for searching and time, especially during the working hours. My HP 1 ran into some water.. Totally my fault so have lost that scanner's search function.

Oh my goodness! Let's hope that quickly comes to an end!...Anyhow, speaking of Caltronics, they shut the system down for a day for repairs last week as days prior some users were getting aweful scratching sounds on their transmissions.

Ok, After running my HP1's for the Sunday, and Monday against the current database (Last week) This is what I have found:

0-05-025 Analog - 152 Hits, Valet Parking (Don't know where yet)

0-09-091 Analog - 18 Hits, Mostly Static, some conversation
0-06-096 Analog - 85 Hits, Construction, Linked to the same user of 0-05-96 (Talk about who should be on the channel, and that there is another channel Surveyors Channels, topics align with 0-05-96 at the same time)
0-17-096 Analog - 81 Hits, Construction (Sounds like crane operators moving materials around a yard.)
0-09-096 Analog - 77 Hits, Courier?
0-05-082 Analog - 85 Hits, Inventory, Vehicle Descriptions (Multiple Channels in Use, Maybe affiliated with Auctions, and Insurance)

0-17-082 Analog 1 Hit, Unknown
0-05-179 Analog 1 Hit, Unknown
0-17-096 Analog 1 Hit, Unknown.

I will keep listening on discover to see if I can confirm ANY of the submitted ones (So far I can't)

I was half asleep when I set up my first scanner on Friday, and set it up on the NextCom system, and so far I have 37 new talk groups, If I post what they are, can I get some help in ID'ng the users on them?
