Campaign for 536 backlight issue?

Hi - I was out of the hobby for a number of years and just getting back in.

I have a 536hp that has the dimmed down backlight issue. Even on high you can barely see any backlighting.

The SN starts with a 3. I’m certain I have one of the models where this was a faulty version.

Is it too late to send it in under the repair campaign??

Campaign ended over 4 years ago...
You will have to send it in to Uniden for there normal flat rate charge for repairs...

If your 536 serial number is in the 375Z3800xxxx series, check the headphone jack for noisy and distorted audio.

By any chance do you guys know about bcd436hp encoder problems with it intermittently jumping over selected menu selections? I suspect the encoder is defective and needs to be replaced at the factory. My unit is less than 6 months old under warranty.
