tusker305 ,please submit these freq's and anything else interesting to the Ontario database. I just had a look in Essex Co. and these would be great to have included.

Thanks ! :)

Considering the Essex Fleetnet tower uses 142.5000 as a voice channel, I really doubt that's correct for CBSA in Windsor.

Then again, BMR has been known to "take over" a frequency, causing harmful interference with a legitimate user so it wouldn't really surprise me.

I remember crossing over in Sarnia a few years back and seeing that they were using a GE M-PD UHF radio.

I was in the Sarnia Bluewater Bridge area a few weeks ago and it looked like the Customs guys were carrying Motorola HT1250's (or something very similar). All the comms I monitored were in the 410'ish mhz range.

Same here during a recent trip out east.

I suspect those frequencies are lifted from another list somewhere.

Can anybody confirm they are still active before they end up in the database?

I have not used any of these since before fleetnet. So I'm not sure how many are still in use or have been put to other uses or agencies. They must have come from some scanner book back when those things were around, but they were all good as posted, monitored by me and confirmed by a friend at canada customs a few years back. Anybody who wants to, plug em in, I will too, with the weekend comming up should be easy for a few of us to confirm or deny what's working.Post em on this thread. Then we will post them to the database. Who's up for a weekend of playing radio.

I know this is a long, long ways from where you are, but take it as you will... CBSA in my area (Calgary) is hanging out on 410.3875 and a couple other similar nearby freqs. I wouldn't be surprised if they used the same band, at least, cross-country.

Customs Tunnel F3 411.8125 active
Can/Customs/RCMP Link 425.6875 active/but may be encrypted or it is digital

167.7300 is a US Customs/Immigration frequency and 425.6875 belongs to the RCMP.

If you're close 411.162 is the operational channel with an input of 425.5625, the input is used as talk around.

I don't think that 425.5625 is a Customs frequency input. That range sounds more like where the RCMP frequencies are.

As for the rcmp link i couldn't tell if it was from customs cause it was scrambled when something did come through, like i say it may be digital or encrypted, i don't have a digital scanner (BC898T)
