Sunday Meeting

Would love to come to a meeting and meet some of you guys. However, I have a family and we'll be in Church. Does the group ever meet on any day other than Sunday?

Hi Mark, We tried in on a Saturday once, and have a very low turnout =( Sunday seems to be the day most people can attend.

PS, we try to plan these over a month in advance so everyone can hopefully make plans to attend, or come up with a plan to call out sick from work.

I was one of the low turnout on that Saturday a while back and it was enjoyable. That was my first time as I'm in the same situation as Mark. Sunday's don't work for me either but I realize that the date has got to be set at the time that is best for the most. Still, I had fun that day.

Got to love Colorado!

A storm is on its way for this weekend and has the potential of bringing the metro area the first snow of the season. The system will move over the mountains by late tomorrow spreading snow from Steamboat Springs to Telluride Saturday evening. A WINTER STORM WATCH has been posted for mountain areas through Sunday evening. Many high country locations will see 6 to 12 inches of snow by the time the storm clears on Sunday night. Light rain could start in the metro area as early as Saturday evening but a better chance of precipitation will start Saturday night. Temperatures will become cold enough in the Denver, Boulder, and Fort Collins areas for the rain to change to snow by Sunday morning. The metro area could see minor snow accumulation.

The CDOT cameras for Denver show accumulation everywhere except travelled lanes of the roads.

Well Mike calls me up and says, Where is everyone????? I told him we had canceled the meet. He then tells me that there are around 12 people waiting for everyone to show up.
