Are you referring to the VIPER site on Cane Mountain? I live about 5 miles southeast of that site and monitor it throughout the day. It's very active.

Yes. I like to monitor more than just my home county(Chatham), So. I have every surrounding county programmed. The Mebane tower is closer, but. The Cane Mountain for some reason, had better reception, until recently.

I haven't noticed any change in signal strength (all 5 bars lit on my 996P2), but I'm pretty close to the site.

I still haven't found an answer for Alamance County. But I did for, Harnett, Person n' Randolph Counties

I now can get the Alamance, Harnett, Moore and, Randolph systems. With the Chatham Simulcast tower and, Person. With the Durham Camden tower.
