BCD325P2/BCD996P2: Can't get driver updated in WIN 11 for Uniden BCD325P2.

It tells me the best driver is already installed. I have already downloaded and extracted the usbser.zip from Uniden and can't get WIN 11 to update via Device Manager.

I'm wanting to use ProScan and it needs the driver installed to work. This all worked on my old WIN 7 64-bit machine, but it's in storage at this time. Newer HP laptop with Windows 11. "A request for the USB device descriptor failed."

Try restarting the computer.

did you want to try "uninstall device" and then reinstall ?

Reseat the cable then after the scanner reboots, go to the Comm. Port Auto Detect and see if the scanner shows in the list.
If not then go to the Device Manager and see if he port show a yellow exclamation point.
