First of all, sorry for my bad English, I had only one year English lessons.
Also I am dyslectic.

I have recently bought a sds200(e) and cince I have it, I am fighting with it. For so far the scanner won..
I have about 20 favorite lists, and in 2 of them are a lot of marine frequency's.
I want to scan them.

So I go to the set scan selection in the menu.
I set all the favorite lists to off, and enable only the 2 list with marine frequency's
So far so good.
I exit the menu and the scanner makes a quick save favorite list.
I can see it loads marine frequency's
From here it is a bit difficult, how let I scan only that list.
When I look in the list it only contains 2 frequency's , not even marine.
How do I setup the scan, how I start it.
Thanks in advance, Nick

Turn radio on, once it's done the startup, press the SQUELCH knob and you will get the MENU

first item, SET SCAN SELECTION, push in the left knob (PUSH/FUNC) and then turn that left knob until SELECT LISTS TO MONITOR is highlighted.
Push that left knob again.

Among other things you will see an entry for Quick Save Favorites List. Push the know to turn it on.

Back out by pushing the SQUELCH key a few times until you are back to scanning.

Also make sure you have the correct service types turned ON.

As you enable the two marine favorite lists but they do not get scanned, they can have been set to use location control that disables them.

Check in the option setting for each favorite lists that location control are set to no.

If you add frequencies yourself to a list they will get the service type Custom 1 so check that you have that enabled.

In the favorite list option menu you can also set a FL Quick key and that can help to see what you scan. Set a number to each favorite list you have, those 20, and remember the numbers for the marine ones.

When you scan it will show on the display which list that are enabled. It will show F0 and a number for the list 00-09 that are enabled and F1 and a number for 10-19. If it shows a star instead of a number then that favorite list are disabled from scan.

To enable and disable favorite list, you are in normal scanning and push one or two digits for the favorite list and then E.

That's similar to what I have programmed. One favorite list for my area and one system for marine, you seem to have set quick key 0 to that, and then several departments and I have one for VHF simplex, VHF duplex coast stations, UHF standard, and then special frequencies for harbor and ferry lines and such.

But you have two separate favorite lists but only show one in the display that isn't even the marine ones.

You have set QK to your marine favorite lists and there's no stars in the display instead of numbers or dashes?

When you go to the scanners menu you first see Set Scan Selection and when you enter that and Select Lists to Monitor you can see that your marine lists are set to On?
