Baofeng DM32UV Scan list bug work around

Ok here it is, this was driving me nuts. The scan list settings are broken. So if you want to scan from a scan list do the following:
1. Make a scan list in the typical fashion in CPS
2. Program your channels/zones, but DO NOT assign a scan list to a channel. The channel's scan list MUST be "none", that is the word none in CPS.
3. Now put your radio on the channel you want to add a scan list to and go into the menu->scan->scanlist-> [select desired scan list]

Now activate scan either from the menu or the button you assigned.

One final step. Now you can read the code plug, & save the scan settings you put in from the keypad.

Apologies for jumping in late on this - after trolling RR for many years, just now getting around to registering. Anyway...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't this only allow you to put each channel in ONE scan list? What if you want the same channel in multiple scan lists?

Currently struggling with the (bleep bleep) Scan list set up in CPS, so just thought I'd ask.

In the process outlined earlier, you're not adding your selected channel to a scan list; you're adding a scan list (already programmed) to your selected channel. Adding channels to a scan list is a different process, which works fine in the CPS (and you CAN add any channel to multiple scan lists).
