I have been monitoring a digital radio system on 462.125 and 463.725 MHz. A license search shows a TRS license to ACM in the Albany area, but I haven't heard this type of digital modulation before.

Is there anyone in the Capital region that can monitor either of those frequencies (462.125 seems busier) and clue me in as to what type of system this is?

Thanks in advance,

Kevin

Thanks for the info. I didn't know that MOTOTRBO was available in a trunked system. There is one local company in this area using MOTORTRBO but only as a single channel system.

MOTOTRBO is not avail yet in trunking.Likely not till mid 2009 in UHF 430-470.
That ACM freq is also used to demo TRBO to customers.Crawford,Rotterdam and New Baltimore sites will also be adding a few TRBO digital repeaters.
I cannot wait for TRBO LTR to get released.

ps- I work for ACM
