Maybe this has been discussed before but, have not seen anything really that fits.

I purchased off Amazon, the Lido Cup Holder, for my previous SDS100.

Problem I had with the Lido was that the part where you slide the radio in, is made of plastic and after a while, it lost tension, and would no longer keep the radio secure.

Has anyone here found a working, car cup holder?

I just received a ScannerMaster Nylon case for the SDS150. It bulks up the radio so I need to take that into account when purchasing the car cup holder.

For reference, I'm including pictures of what the SDS150 looks like, with the new nylon holster.

Looking for a cup holder solution that would keep the radio in the case but at the same time, accept the belt clip holster built into the nylon case20260110_141435.jpg20260110_141448.jpg20260110_141453.jpg20260110_141507.jpg20260110_141523.jpg20260110_141540.jpgnew.jpg

I've used the Pro-Clip before. Their belt clips are top notch. I've also used their angled dash mount too, in my 2013 Toyota Prius.

Their angled dash mount, can't hold the SDS150 in the nylon holder.

I ended up, drilling and Mc Giver'ing mounts from previous installs and came up with this.

With this setup, I can use the SDS150 belt clip and transfer it to my belt, once off the vehicle.
However, I would still need to, take the SDS150 out of the ProClip, slide it into the ScannerMaster nylon holster and THEN, use their belt clip.

Sigh.
What I would like to do is keep the SDS150 in the nylon case, use it in the vehicle Frankestein mount, pull it out and transfer it to the belt clip holder from ScannerMaster.

Maybe ScannerMaster can up their game and design a vehicle, cup holder, capable of accommodating their holster.

Crossing fingers they do.

I use this and it works great. You can undo your belt clip and just put it in the slot or use your belt clip either way its a win win

Nice find!

I had to do double-take. I was trying to figure why someone would mount their radios on a trailer hitch. Then, I remembered that Amazon's product images are always exaggerated.

There are several 3D files for the 100 if you print or know someone. Modifying the file for a 150 should be easy.

I do have the RAM arm. What I'm missing is the top part, I guess, the ball socket that would fit atop what I currently have.

Some public libraries do 3D printing for reasonable prices, if you don't have either of the above.

This is the one I finally settled on, thanks for the suggestion. Also ordered the RAM mount ball adapter for their arm. Now everything is secure and at hand.
