That stated in Kearny this morning on windsor Street, It was called in as a Car Jacking, Our NAPD Tango 1 spotted the car and radioed our headquarters to have Belleville assist. Once Belleville got into the area they ( NAPD Tango 1 )try to affect a stop after the traffic was stopped for a trailer truck blocking the road, Our Tango 1 unit is an unmarked white Dodge charger, the NAPD car tried to pinned the car in when our Tango 1 was rammed on the passenger side door and the auto sped away our department broke off the chase in the West Orange area on Route 280. Our officer was not injured, Also assisted from nearby departments where Kearny, Hudson and Essex County PD, Belleville and Newark PD.
