I made agreement for a "trade" with carolinascannerspy.
He has NO pics of the unit and refused to give pics (should have been a hint to me). But I went ahead anyway.
I programmed (for him) and shipped my MINT Pro-106 in original box WITHIN AN HOUR of making the deal and gave him a tracking number.
Weight on the receipt for the package was 1kg (scanner box manual)
I asked when my radio was coming to me?.. he had excuses about not having money to ship it yet, then that he borrowed money to ship it and it was returned (in 2 days from SC to Canada and then back to him?? saying wrong address?? ya right!) He refused to give me a tracking number to call the post office to see the problem or correct the address (in the meantime i got 3 other packages no problem). He refused to re-ship it (saying he was soo poor) saying oh he has to wait till next week to ship his radio to me etc etc etc
But he kept bugging me when his 106 is going to arrive, I havent got it yet, where is it, come on I dont see it yet (should have been another hint)?
So I get an email saying he got the package but it was a Pro-106 BOX ONLY EMPTY, and full of AIR. So he got the BOX but NOT the 106
He went on saying how I was trying to scam him and hes happy he didnt ship anything to me yet
I said I packed the radio myself extremely well , so unless a post office employee took off all the tape all the bubble wrap opened the double boxing I did, then repacked it again... then the radio was there!!!!!!
No he said was full of air, and thus hes no longer sending anything to me, and accusing me of frauding him.. how can i fraud him when i got NOTHING!! he shipped NOTHING!!
I said fine Ill give you the benefit of the doubt and lets deal with this... I asked for his phone number (I gave him mine all along), HE REFUSED to give me his number. I asked him to file a POSTAL CLAIM for a missing scanner (since when it left here it was 1kg) but when it got to him he claims it was full of air. (he signed for a package full of air???) didnt he notice the weight? TOTAL BS!!!!
I also asked for the tracking number that he shipped my scanner to me (as he claims)
HE REFUSED TO FILE A POSTAL INSURANCE CLAIM OR CONTACT POLICE about the matter (good enough hint) NOR GIVE ME A TRACKING INFO FOR THE RADIO HE "SENT ME" saying im a scammer and HE OWES ME NOTHING

1) I got a postal receipt with tracking showing he got the 1kg box full of air (I guess air in SC weighs 1kg).
2) He sent me NOTHING and evens admits it
3) He refuses to give me a phone number,
4) He refuses to file a POSTAL CLAIM (im guessing he knows it would be fraud since he DID GET the scanner)
5) He refuses to contact police (again because he knows hes the scammer)
