Carroll County - Active S&R ? or training?

Hearing tons of activity on 38352 (unknown TG) and Carroll Co talkgroups today. Sounds like a search and rescue. Multiple K-9 units searching ponds and other areas. Carroll Co SO can be heard on here as well as the various K-9 units, "water 1" and other things. They have a ton of K-9 units.

I'm hearing all of this off of the 440 KENSINGTON tower (which is a new tower). If anybody with a digital scanner can monitor, you'll want to get 868.900 programmed in your scanner, which is the control channel for the Kensington tower.

I don't know if this is training or an actual event. Might just be some drill/test. Strange that it just so happens that this starts on a Saturday morning the first week the Kensington tower is up. Comms are very solid all around.

I'm assuming this is just a drill/test.

1. Happened on a Saturday
2. Made heavy use of a brand new MARCS site not available to them last week
3. They quit just before 5 pm
4. Were talking about resuming tomorrow with digging ditches or something

Not sure that any urgent S&R would be called off at 5 pm on a clear day, only to resume tomorrow heh.

Mike, I just got done searching the data base and did a search on the Ohio forums searching 38352 and ended up on this thread. I'm hearing this TG on Germano's site. Its 1:00 PM Sunday and they are back at it. Divers in the water. The 2 people that I've listened to don't sound very excited. I'll go with you and say its an exercise.
