Fortunately, GA
still dont understand maybe you could list the catoosa freq. and tone beside the freq. for me
thx scannermanfreq.

To help you understand, it is a mixed mode analog/digital trunked system. Not conventional frequencies with PL/DPL. You can use an analog scanner, but won't hear anything but noise on the digital TG's.

Fortunately, GA
im talking about for a radius radio not a scanner
thx scannerfreqman

What are you trying to monitor? It seems that the county has gone to the trunked system according to what is in the database. The conventional frequencies are listed under Catoosa in the database. Be more specific.

A Motorola Radius brand of radio will not work on an 800MHz trunked system. You will have to get a scanner capable of trunking and digital decoding.

Everyone has tried to explain the conditions of the new trunking system and that only trunking scanners and/or Motorola trunking radios will function under such system. Now I'm starting to believe that scannerfreqman doesn't believe any of us or he is joking around with us. Whatever the case, lets begin sealing the lid on this matter. The Motorola Radius radio you have sir, is a dud for anyone who uses the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Trunking System. That includes plumbers at UTC and janitors at Erlanger. What you're wanting to do with the Moto Radius, will not work with anyone thats using the trunking system. You will have to revert to programming Walker County or Whitfield County or Bradley County into your Radius. But the 800 trunking system will not function using the Motorola Radius. At this point, I beg you to obtain a second, third and a professional opinion on this matter, for everyone thats answered you thus far, has provided you with the best answer.
Thanks
