Catoosa, Dade and Walker counties have all been in the process of selecting new EMS providers to replace Hutcheson Medical Center, which has announced they will no longer be providing EMS services after 2008.
Catoosa: coverage countywide will be provided by Angel EMS. Angel was already providing partial coverage to Catoosa.
Dade: coverage countywide will be provided by Lifeguard. Lifeguard acquired Erlanger Medical Center's ground EMS when they decided to discontinue their program. They currently provide service in the Chattanooga area, as well as answering emergency calls in East Ridge, TN.
Walker: coverage will be provided by a new county-owned program.
No information at this point as to how this may impact operations on the air.
