Does anybody in LA use cb radio anymore. I was curious because i have two police scanner and i want to be able to transmit. I am to lazy to get a ham LIC.

Well, I guess CB is the place to be.

I am sure there are others. With millions of people there is no way there is not.

I live in the LA area, and on the rare occasions that I tune through the CB band, I hear lots of activity. You shouldn't have any difficulty raising someone.

i want to be able to transmit on a radio not on the police scanner. I guess bad choice of words

In the city, you might have better luck reaching out with FRS.
