I really miss the Close-Call Auto-Store capability that exists on the 396XT/996XT.. throwing all hits into stored memory. It is a very handy research/sleuthing tool.
Discovery mode does not approach the capabilities of Auto-Store when you don't know the exact frequency range to search, and when the transmissions are short.
I understand it's possible to review the last 10 CC hits if you enable 'search with scan' and then do a DEPT hold when the radio cycles to the 'Close Call Hits' but this is awkward to access, and only stores the last 10 from what I understand. I'd love for the hits stored to essentially be unlimited.
