I’ve found two metro areas so far where my Pro-96’s will not lock onto a single control channel, have others experienced the same thing?

1. Safeway parking lot NE corner of Washington and Thornton Parkway in Thornton
2. Stop and Rob parking lot 1 block SW of Swedish Medical Center in Englewood.

Additionally anyone else monitoring Adams County SO Monday afternoon during the “tornadoes”? Man there primary channel was so active that normal traffic was moved to car to car talk group and all activity was DTRS, man they made that move fast. There old UHF frequencies were silent.

Well #1 is right in my neck of the woods so I'll check it out.

I didn't catch any of the ADCOM traffic, but was very concerned the tornados were so close. I don't need that! Guess I should think about bringing the scanner to work.

Luckily they were only F-0's no serious damage.

It's probably Next-Hell interference.
