After the analog system has been offline for some time. Today I was traveling out of ORD today and I noticed the following channels came back to life transmitting P25 test patterns. May be a sign of new things to come.

They switched to the TETRA system awhile back for everything except CPD and CFD operations:

If any changes were to occur, they would move to the city's 800 trunking system for interoperability before they'd return to the UHF-T system.
