Seems like a good day to post these.

Remember CDOT is still VHF 151.085 in many areas of the state like West of
the Denver Metro area but DTRS talk groups elsewhere.

And when you hear dispatch asking there troopers for a 10-13, that's not
road closed it's just a request for current conditions.

COLORADO ROAD REPORT CODES

THE FOLLOWING PAGES CONTAIN ADVERSE ROAD CONDITIONS FOR THE STATE OF
COLORADO. IF A LOCATION DOES NOT SHOW A CODE OR SHOWS A CODE 3, IT IS
CONSIDERED TO BE DRY.

COLORADO ROAD CONDITION CODES

CODE 1: ADVISORY DUE TO WIND **

CODE 2: POOR VISIBILITY - DUST/SNOW/FOG

CODE 3 DRY

CODE 4: WET

CODE 5: RAIN

CODE 6: SNOW

CODE 7: SLUSHY

CODE 8: ICY

CODE 9: ICY SPOTS

CODE 10: SNOWPACKED

CODE 11: SNOWPACKED SPOTS

CODE 12: SLIDE - ROCK/SNOW/MUD

CODE 13: CLOSED

CODE 14: DRIFTING SNOW

CODE 15: ADEQUATE SNOW TIRES OR CHAINS REQUIRED

CODE 16: CHAINS ONLY

CODE 17: CHAINS OR ADEQUATE SNOW TIRES REQUIRED FOR ALL COMM
VEHICLES-CHAINS ONLY FOR ALL SINGLE AXLE COMM VEHICLE COMBINATIONS OVER
26,000 GVW

CODE 18: CHAINS REQUIRED ON ALL COMMERCIAL VEHICLES (4 SETS ON DRIVE AXLES)

NLR : NO LATE REPORT (NO OFFICER ON DUTY TO REPORT)

csp shift codes for different car stops-ie
no seat belts-speeding uninsured
they state 7- code 42 8 code 61
or whatever?usally over a long weekend

Correct those are holiday stats.

Has nothing to do with the CDOT road codes.

They were using the weather "road codes" when they were on 47 MHz back in the 70's.

47.020 and 47.100 was the freq pair in the area back in the day.
