I'd like to change the scanlist order. Is there an 'easy, quick' way to do this. Sometimes lists have drag-&-drop, but can't see that function here. Perhaps i'll have to do it the long way round.

In addition to this, on the TRX-1 itself, is there a quick way I can select scanlist objects without having to keep scrolling endlessly all the time to find the object I want to select for scanning?

In EZ Scan click on the SCANLIST tab, highlight a TG, then click on CTRL A to select all, click on the scanlist assignments on the far right and it will pull up the box to assign/unassign scanlists. This method makes the same change for all TGs, so if some are on two or more scanlists and you only want to change one scanlist use caution. As a reminder, before making any changes save the original configuration using SAVE CONFIGURATION under file tab at top.

Just enter the scanlist number on the key pad to turn on or off scanlist, if there is more than one you want to turn on/off use a period between the numbers (IE 51 turns on/off scanlist 51, 51.52 turns on/off both scanlists). If scanlist is on it turns it off, if off turns it on.

For conventional you can export to csv when right click and read in excel and edit the scanlist numbers and then delete old lists and import the new csv, and it will scan in list number order.

For trunked you can probably edit the system numbers that are in hex for the TS0000?? files in the cdat folder on the SD card to get them in another order. There are 5 files for each system, one for sites and another for TG and so on and all 5 needs to be renamed.

You can first save the current setup to a new virtual scanner and use that vscanner folder to do the edits, so you will still have the original untouched.

TRX will start to scan trunked system and then conventional. It will also only scan a conventional frequency once, if you have several list that have the same frequency, and present the associated data, like CTCSS, with the first list that match. During that long "preparing" sequence it compiles its own list of frequencies to scan. If you try and change anything it will recompile that list with another long "preparing" sequence.

As a reminder, you can only export if it was not programmed/imported from the database.
