just got a pro 96, never had anything to do w/ scanning before. problem is it lets me enter the freq. range i want to scan but it says all channels locked out. what does this mean? thanks for any help.
You need to program the banks with the frequencies you want to listen to. Look in the wiki under Radio Models, Radio Shack, Pro-96. There is info there to help you get started.
