Charlotte Area 396T Help?

I know that some areas around Charlotte are using digital talkgroups (Mooresville, Pineville, Chester Co.) My question is, on the 396, what trunking system do you program? Do you use the 800 Standard, the P25, the 800 Splinter? I programmed Charlotte's TRS into the radio under P25, because it is supposed to handle both, and did not hear anything. After I reprogrammed it as standard, it worked fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Motorola 800 Standard is what is needed for the systems you mention.

The P25 is for the digital mode only, 9600 CC stuff. None of that around Charlotte yet.
