The Hamilton County trunk system went down for at least 30-45mins. There was a mayjor cluster for units to switch to I-call, I-tac1, 2 and 3.

Don't they have failsoft channels on that system?

Well yes they do, but when the main site takes a direct lightning strike which fries the main and the back up controller along with the power transfer controller in one fail swoop...things tend to go bad fast after that.
