Cheap alternative for a Multicoupler ?

Stridsburg 8 port is kinda pricy. I've tried catv distribution amps, work well with hi-band vhf and uhf but seem to attenuate frequencies below 50mhz.

Probably by7 design, as below 50 MHz is the reverse channel.
A good CATV amp will pass it in the other direction with minimum loss.

Do you really need an amp in your location. I would think in a metro area you could get by with regular TV/VCR splitters and AB or ABC switches.

Don't need any amplification, unity gain would be fine. But I have a lot of scanners. 10 at my desk, 3 in the bedroom, kitchen etc you know the story.......Enjoy listening to MSP mobiles and can't afford any signal loss.
