Cheep Cheep (Radios) - Probably Junk, but fun to investigate.

Okay, I have an "issue" I periodically look to see what the cheapest piece of Chinese made garbage is on the market.
On my latest go around, I found this $5.01 radio on Amazon

Who can find something cheaper and more junky? Come on, we can't be serious all the time!

Wow! That “Stereo Speakers Receiver Music Player” is only about 3.75” wide x 2.25” tall x 0.75” deep! I wonder if that rivals a Bose unit? It’s a steal but I don’t like the idea of randomly shipping new and old units. Who wants an old model? 🤣



I guess I’ll pass on this one. Gonna be hard to find a cheaper radio though…

No doubt it's $5 for good reason. I would imagine a set of earphones would cost more. But it looks like a convenient diversion for the hour or more you would be sitting in the doctor's waiting room.

Yeah, or a new sub-class of ultralight BCB-Dxing for those who like to torture themselves. If you get anything other than a Clear Channel station at night you could rejoice!

Amazon also has an analog SW receiver for under $10.00. From what the reviewers say, it might be better if you wiped your hind end with a ten dollar bill and flushed it instead of buying this one.
