New to this Scanner world trying to learn as I go. I had the scanner programmed but the Chesapeake VA PD is not giving me audio. My blue light comes on and off like it is picking up audio but no audio comes through. Most of the other freq seems to work fine... Fire dept, hospitals, airports, etc... Anyone have any ideas??? I am using a raidoshack pro-106 digital trunking radio scanner with an 800mhz antenna. Any and all help would be appreciated

Not true, although the method is kinda clunky - see the bottom of this article

Programming Shortcut PSR-500/600 RS Pro-106/197 - The RadioReference Wiki

Now as for the table values - in that Object Oriented software article, go to the rebanding support section. You'll see an image there - click on it to enlarge. You need only lines 00 and 01

It IS easier to do with software, especially if you have a subscription to this site. All the packages will set up the tables for you when you download from the database.

The PRO-96 and 2096 are the 2 GRE made scanners that must be rebanded with software and cannot be done manually.

Yes, you're right. BUT in the scanner,
you can only program lines 1 and above!
You need the software to do it right.
