Several area stations responding for fill-in's, others covering additional EMS calls. Command states 4th A/C not needed at this time.

SkyCare 1 ETA 7 minutes Crozer-Chester with a single patient with partial thickness (2nd degree) burns to the head and upper body. Other patient details were given but I will withhold them out of respect for the patient's privacy, although SkyCare did not give any information which would violate HIPPA standards.

No word on the 2nd fire call in the area but it is unlikely to be R/T the 1st incident as the balloon caught fire while on the ground after landing.

SkyCare 1 airborne departing Crozer. No further major traffic from the incident so it sounds like things are wrapping up. Quick response from EMS and fire in a major incident.

7 patients transported to various hospitals plus 1 fatality, the balloon pilot. According for Fox News the FAA will investigate the incident. The balloon was operated by Air Adventures of Chester Springs, PA. Although it is a sad situation any time something like this occurs the residents of the farmhouse also deserve credit for rendering first aid to those who were burned in the incident.
