I'm a recent proud owner of an SDS 200. I live in E. Nottingham Township and have had great success listening to the WEST Simulcast.

I've recently tried to use the Fire Tone-Out standby option; in particular for Station 21 in Oxford.

My question is which of the tones I should be listening to?

On the Matrix they're designated FIRE/AMB/FIRE OFC/AMB OFC/DEPT OFFICE/GEN/MEDIC/FIRE POLICE

So far, I've set it up for FIRE and GEN and had nothing decode. Either I'm not doing it correctly; need to have more patience, or I'm listening to the wrong tones.

I'm setup for 160.185 Mhz, by the way and I hear it fine.

You would most likely put 553.9 as tone A and 569.1 as tone B for Fire The first column is the A tone and the additional columns are the corresponding B tones.

donbaker13 is correct.
The "GEN" (general) tones are rarely used. Don't expect that to alert.
