Run a search for the Impala installs. Somewhere out there I posted pictures of my setup in a 2006 impala LTZ with full console. I made a few changes to it since then, but basically the same. I am on the west side of Indy, (10th & Girls School Road). I can get more pictures or answer questions if you want to E-mail me. My QRZ info is all correct.

I've posted some of these before, but attached are some install shots of my 2005 Impala. I've changed some things since I posted about a year ago.

I have a BDC996, Motorolla high power VHF Spectra with A9 control head, and a Kenwood TMD700A installed. The GPS unit is a Garmin 376C, and Dell laptop is mounted with a Gamber Johnson mobile laptop mounting station. I hope this gives you some ideas for mounting equipment in an Impala.

The middle, 12 inch Jottodesk console is what I am going to put in my new Impala soon. It's not enough room for everything, but at least it will hold five scanners. The rest I will have to stuff elsewhere.

I wish I could get the LTZ, but no way am I buying a car with a floor shifter and centre console. Consequently, I'm stuck with the 2LT.
