Not familiar with CHP frequencies or cities in Cali. Can anyone list the CHO frequencies I would need to monitor from the AZ border on I 10 to Beverly Hills? Appreciate the extended base and mobile channels. GWhen I travel on I 10 east of Palm Springs I don’t receive anything on fees I am monitoring.

Start with Indio chp starts at the Colorado river west to county line road in Calimesa, Cali.

Than Rancho Cucamonga when you get to county line road past Calimesa... than Baldwin park, east LA than central, than west LA.

When you get to L.A. start listening to the blue freq. since they have depending on the day good stuff.

Make sure you have a great low band Antenna...

Let's not forget about Blythe and San Gorgonio Pass. This route was covered previously in this thread:
https://forums.radioreference.com/g...do-river-santa-monica-10-fwy.html#post1877602

I've updated it somewhat from information I've found tracking calls. This is by no means definitive and could be completely wrong.

Area Office: Area of Responsibility
Blythe: Colorado River to somewhere east of Red Cloud Road

Indio: Somewhere east of Red Cloud Road to Hwy 62 or east from there

San Gorgonio Pass: Hwy 62'ish (the furthest east call I've tracked was just west of Hwy 62) to the Riverside / San Bernardino Counties line

San Bernardino: San Bernardino / Riverside Counties line to Sierra Ave. in Fontana

Rancho Cucamonga: Sierra Ave to San Bernardino / Los Angeles Counties line

Baldwin Park: Los Angeles / San Bernardino Counties line to I-605

East LA: I-605 to around Indiana Ave (City of LA border)

Central LA: Around Indiana (City of LA border) to La Cienega Blvd

West LA: La Cienega to the end of I-10

It's dispatched by the Rancho dispatch center.

The dispatch center is in Rancho but is called Inland on the radio. the Rancho office and San Bernardino office are 2 different channels. The Riverside office is a third channel also handled by the same communications center. Lake Arrowhead is another office, but shares a channel with San Bernardino
