Just listening to some frequencies and Civil Air Patrol came up on 14.902 MHz and identified itself as, 14.9020 USB CIVIL AIR PATROL (CAP) IOWA CAP- 4 NET

You are jumping to conclusions or just looking for an argument, all the net controller said was IOWA (CAP- 4) NET.

Then that's what you should have posted. The initial post looked like an entry from a database, not something anyone would have said on a voice channel. Or is this a digital net?

No he should not have.. You are wrong for saying he was incorrect. You were not there when he got the audio so dont jump in someones post and say they are wrong. Sheer arrogance too much of it on this site!
