For some reason i do not hear Clark County Sherrif anymore,did they change there radio system.

A co-worker of mine, his son is a CCSO Deputy. These are what he listens to his son on 44688, 44784, 44656. These are in the database as Vanc.PD, but I've heard his unit# on these TGID's, but I have not listened to them in a while (can here them quite well from Hillsboro). And I know that one site is set for rebanding(you might enter those freqs).
If he's a deputy then he will primarily be heard on CNTL 2 - 44688; when he's running names/plates etc he's on data, or, CNTL 5 - 44784 and when he wants to talk car to car he'll be on EGL 2 - 45008. He probably won't be on CNTL 1 - 44656 which is the OLD data channel. CNTL -1 is now for small cities (Camas, Washougal, Battle Ground, Ridgefield and Lacenter). And then there are the OPS channels...he could be any one of those for tactical events....

Are you asking for help with PDX? (I'm assuming you mean the city, not the airport)
Yes,im hearing the sherrff and Battle Ground PD,Now I want to scann Portland Airport Police and Fire,but i think im to far away.

To find out for sure, put your scanner in MANUAL mode and enter 856.7375. You should hear the data stream (a strong buzz). If you don't hear it, slowly move the scanner around the room or house at various heights. If you still don't hit a spot where you hear it, you're right, you're too far away or just in a poor reception area.

Clark County Sheriff has exclusive use of CTRL 2 from 3pm to 3am daily. At 3pm, the outlying agencies switch to CTRL 1 as their primary dispatch. At 3am, they move back to CTRL 2 and the sheriff and outlying agencies share CTRL 2. Data for all agencies is now on CTRL 5, 9am to 3am daily.
