Recently, I noticed a message on my laptop indicating there was something wrong with the drive when I had my 436HP connected via port. I attempted to clear data, but that took forever.

So, I went in and removed my audio recordings, saved some, and shot the ones I wanted to play back into my 16GB SD card. The "clear data" did not fix the corrupted file. Windows 10 scanned and repaired it. Now, the SD card works fine, but I have some questions:

1) If I renamed my user audio files on my computer and labeled them according to the content and then shot them back into the radio, would the name of the file show up when I wanted to play/review them?;

2) Can files from one scanner go into the SD card of another 436HP? I am specifically talking about my first 436HP that still has to be shipped for the clock repair. The dates and times are inaccurate since I never bother resetting the clock.

I believe I am going to try and send that little boy in this week.
