Unfortunately looks like someone else put on a live Clearwater PD feed. Its too bad they will likely go encrypted.
I wonder why people do this after they have been warned.
Its so self defeating because we will all lose the ability to listen.
Looks like the web address goes back to Tryton hmmm.

Get your tinfoil hats off. On the Pinellas System what is already E is what will stay E. You people trying to scare off people with Pinellas going total E is just BS and you should get your facts straight.

CPD will be switching over to the Pinellas P25 system.

This crap of agency's asking to take feeds down is a joke. Do we live in America or China? We are the home of the free right? To me its just another way of the police abusing their power.

How do you know that CPD will be switching over to the Pinellas P25 system?

In December Clearwater city council approved a near $2M contract to upgrade to P25. They plan to maintain their own system but will have seamless interoperability with the users on the county system.

"[Clearwater] will have a separate but equal system to the county."

Meeting video...

City Council on 2014-12-18 6:00 PM - Dec 18th, 2014

With all these P25 systems in play you'll start to see some interesting things in regards to wide area coverage, such as units from different counties roaming on different systems. Tampa PD's Harris radios have P25 capability and can already operate on Pinellas P25 seamlessly.

I wouldn't consider this "switching over to the Pinellas P25 system". They are staying on their own upgraded system.
