Wanted to start a thread to build on through the weekend.

Sean Tucker was heard (and seen flying into Tango airspace) talking airshow gab on 123.150 today. Blue Angels arrived and were heard on 284.250 and 237.800 plane to plane, so no surprises there. Activity was also noted on the airshow's usual FM repeater UHF ground operation channels.

Haven't been able to find any STA filings on the FCC ULS database. The most recent activity in an application search shows up as last year's STA's on 128.475 and 118.350, but of course these are now expired. If anyone can dig out any new STA's, please list. I'll see what else I can dig up during the run-through on Friday.

Please post any activity and let's hope for a break in the weather.

Saw the Angels last week when I was visiting family in Cleveland. Really miss the show down at Burke lakefront.
Actually got to sit in the VIP section back in the early 90's. Got to meet a lot of crew.

Got to meet a lot of crew. Larry
Hey Larry,

Last year I was on the E 9th street pier on the Friday before watching them practice, and I happened to meet a former T Bird pilot from the late 70's - early 80's. He was part of the "Thundergeezers". He was a super nice guy and told a lot of great stories. They visit airshows and later meet up with the current pilots.

Used to sit in the free seats above the CPD horse stables. I remember one year, there was a F15 Eagle in the show. Had my scanner with me and heard him say he was going to give us, in the free seats, a treat. He flew overhead as low as he could and hit the afterburners, then went straight up. Dang that was loud!

Didn't sound like Airboss came up today, probably have something tomorrow.

Updates: Blue Angels activity was heard on 305.900 (Fat Albert), 251.600 (Taxi), 237.800 (Solos) 275.350 (Diamond), 284.250 (Show box) Ground crew was confirmed on 138.8125 FM (Charlie). These are all historically consistent with past logging. Late in the day the group left local airspace for over an hour...presume they put in a performance elsewhere.

Sean Tucker and friends were again heard on 123.150. More posts (from me and hopefully from all of you) as they become available!

AWESOME! Those days are long gone, lol. Although, on the pier the high speed flybys are pretty good too.

Airboss was working both 135.875 and 135.425 today. Looking for .875 as the primary and .425 as a secondary for the weekend

Discrete was 118.350 today. Don't know if that will change. F-16 Viper was confirmed on 384.550

Blues heard on 251.600 (taxi), 237.800 (solos) 275.350 (diamond), 284.250 show box. Fat Albert is operating 305.500 & 305.900. Comm Cart 139.8125 NFM and Tower Spotter on 142.6125 NFM

Not sure about Golden Knight air-ground. Likely 123.150 or 123.475.

Ground Ops on 451.625 & 452.700 NFM.

Will post anything further

Thanks for keeping us updated! Plan to go Sunday. Couple questions:
What exactly is heard on the discrete 118.35?
Also, for the Blues, you previously listed the Comm Cart as 138.8125. Is it on that and also on 139.8125?

My bad on the BA Comcart. Yes, its 139.8125, not 138. Typo - apologies.

The discrete freq is where air to air coms between the civilian pilots typically takes place, such as the Twin Tiger team. You'll also hear Sean Tucker doing his live feed to the show PA system - very spirited. It's worth having.

Also forgot to mention that Lifeflight coordinates their flyby on the standard helo air to air freq of 123.025. Most scanner vets have that one memorized. I've heard a lot of rare moments on that one over the years

Enjoy the weekend all!
